Posted by Unknown | Wednesday, July 23, 2008 |

The way you list your product on eBay will have a direct impact on the success of your eBay business. Your product listing is pretty similar to your shop front, and your potential customers will decide whether to purchase your items based on the listing and description of your product.

To make your product listings effective so that you can sell your products smoothly on eBay, here are the things you must do:

1. Include the relevant keywords and search terms in your product description.

2. The titles of your product listings have to be attention-grabbing. You got to make the eBay viewers click your title link or your products will never sell. Thus, put in time and effort to learn about writing effective product listings titles. Take a look at your competitors successful auctions, see how their titles are written and take some of their good ideas.

3. The description of your product should be as detailed and accurate as possible. Let the potential buyers know precisely the condition of your product. Whether it is new or used, tell them honestly. Write about the benefits of your products; how they can help the potential buyers. Also list the features and functions of your products.

4. Never start a listing without adding photos or images of your products. If your potential buyers can’t see the items you are selling, they may leave your auction and go check out your competitors auctions which sell the similar items.

5. Make sure that you list your items in the most accurate category.

6. Give sufficient details about the shipping. Let the buyer know the cost of shipping and the estimated time needed to deliver the product. You should also provide a fast shipping option to meet the need of people who demand fast product delivery.

7. Some customers don’t want to pay with Paypal, so you should provide more payment options so that the customers can choose the payment option that best suits them

8. You definitely want as many people as possible to bid on your auctions. To do that, you’ll need to list your product at a low starting price.

Applying these tips to your eBay product listings, I’m sure they will help increase the amount of bids on your products and generate more eBay sales for you.

Blinkweb Website Design Software

I have been showing you one of my step by step methods for making money online. In this case I have detailed a process I use to either sell affiliate products or generate leads to sell to others. You can read the first two posts here: Blinkweb Tutorial Part 1 and Blinkweb Tutorial Part 2. So far I have discussed finding a product, service or someone in need of leads and how to create a quick blog properly optimized for the niche. This system is designed for new products or anything that has little competition - ie. a product that has no affiliates (Leads).

The basic concept is simple. All newly released products have no authority sites ranking for the keyword in the serp's. If you are quick, use properly SEO'd blogs and can generate proper backlinks (meaning keyword optimized anchor links) then you should be able to make page 1 of the serp's for the product and do it quickly.

I also mentioned that you shouldn't just settle for 1 of the top 10 positions on the page 1 listings. This is really the key to how I make money with affiliate products and generating leads - I usually occupy several spots on the page 1 serp listings. This dramatically increases your traffic and an increase in traffic means an increase in sales.

I chose Blinkweb, a new software program by Brad and Matt Callen in order to show you my system promoting a product that is likely to have a lot of competition. Brad Callen is well known in Internet Marketing circles primarily because of the success of two previous products; SEO Elite and Keyword Elite - both now considered standard issue for any serious marketer. The point being that if I can dominate this product then you will see how effective this can be with less competitive products and especially for generating leads.

I want to use this post to simply update those of you following this tutorial on my progress. The following screenshots will show you my rankings in the serp's for all the main keywords associated with Blinkweb. Remember I said the key is to occupy as many of the page 1 spots as you can...

What's With The Google Serp's

Posted by Unknown |

I have lost count of how many comments and emails I have received regarding the current serp listings. The basic gist is best explained by posting an email from one of my readers - Phil - who describes his concern pretty succinctly. I have include my response to him as well...

Griz,

"Hello my name is Phil (removed) and first I would like to thank you for what you do! The knowledge I have picked up from your make money blog has taken me from someone that is sifting through envelope stuffing crap websites to being listed on the first page of Google with multiple blogs using Blogger since January. I'm one of your readers that is silent never posting on your blog or emailing you because I know you are so busy. Unfortunately, I have no other choice but to email you and ask a question since I am at a loss as to what is going on. Lately you have discussed on your blog about the SERP's being fluid and volatile and I have to confirm what you have said about this is true.

I've had a blog on the first page of Google under my targeted keyword since early February never lower than the 5th position on the first page. I place new articles (fresh, original content) on the blog about as much as you update your make money blog and almost overnight I am finding myself on the sixth page of Google for the past three days. My question for you is, have you come to any conclusion as to what is going on with Google and do you have any opinion as to what Google's requirement is now? This blog is not a huge moneymaker but it does make money from Adsesne daily and this has now gone to almost zero except for long tailed keywords that are a natural derivative of my main keyword. Any help or direction you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I have taken your advice early on and stayed away from the make money niche or SEO niche and concentrated all my efforts in niches outside these arenas and concentrated my efforts on products and services that are not associated with these two. The only thing that I can think of that may have caused me to fall from the first page is I used duplicate content for a couple of recent articles to post news releases that were relevant to my niche. If you have any idea, please let me know when you have time."

Sincerely,

Phil

Google Adsense Update

AdSense Referrals Retire I got an email from Google AdSense team this morning informing me that Google will soon retiring their existing feature, Adsense Referrals. The AdSense Referrals allow publishers to display cost-per-action (CPA) Google ads and earn commission when a visitor click through a CPA ad to an advertiser site and completed a desired action on the advertiser's site. The desired action can be a sale, lead or a sign up.

The AdSense Referrals will end during the last week of August. I expect that the end of AdSense Referrals will not affect much the earning of most publishers since they are not many publishers relying it to generate income.

The end of AdSense Referrals is the born of Google Affiliate Network. In the email, Google also introduced their new release of Google Affiliate Network which is designed to be an alternative of AdSense Referrals. Just like AdSense Referrals program, the Google Affiliate Network lets publishers to apply for advertiser programs, display ads and get paid based on advertiser-defined actions.
